Our busy toddler room is equipped with fun and age appropriate toys to meet the needs of all children and help  them achieve milestones and learn new skills.

The educators plan activities according to the interests of children including gross motor activities indoor and outdoor. Daily routine includes outdoor play in the big backyard.

Potty training starts in this room and parents are also informed daily about child's day spent at daycare.

OSC Room

Grade 1 to Grade 6

Our OSC room opens from 6:30 am to 6:00 pm to fit the schedule of many families who do not afford to drop and pick up their children from school. We provide before and after school care. We serve breakfast and afternoon snack for OSC children.

Our centre does not provide transportation to neighborhood schools, however our neighborhood schools provide yellow bus service to and from our centre. Yellow bus transportation can be arranged through your child's school.

The room is equipped with fun and age appropriate materials and children to free to play in any area of the room.

We also provide hot lunch during non-school days.

Welcome

POLK-A-DOT is a community of learners. This includes the children and their families, as well as their caregivers/teachers. Our goal is to provide the best care for your child and allow them to grow in an inclusive learning environment that is developmentally appropriate for each individual. We believe that children are active learners who learn best through direct and meaningful interactive experiences with people, objects, and their environment, while being free to use their own ideas.

One of our primary goals is to provide a rich and diverse learning environment through the use of child generated curriculum. Simply put, children learn best when learning is meaningful to them.

What Parents Think

"We have had our daughters enrolled in POLK-A-DOT daycare for the past 9 months. I have nothing but praise for this daycare. We had an infant and two OSC. Not only are they competitive in their monthly fees, what they include with meals and snacks, arts crafts and learning for the children, lots of outdoor play and walks puts them far above any other daycares.

The level of care provided shows in how excited our daughters are to go to daycare every day. After having our two older daughters in multiple different daycares over the past few years POLK-A-DOT is our absolute favourite. All of the staff are very friendly and very caring towards all the children. We are sad to be moving and having to take our children out of their care as we have absolutely loved how they have treated our children and would have continued care for them indefinitely if we didn't have to move

If you are looking for a daycare that genuinely cares for your children, feeds them quality snacks and meals and has competitive prices you need to go to polkadot.

"Going back to work and sending my son at daycare was a big event for my family. Alka and the staff at Polka Dot Daycare have made the transition simple and stress-free. I truly feel the staff genuinely care for my son and it is exciting to see how his language is developing now that he is around other children".

"I would highly recommend Polk-A-Dot daycare . As I'm a first time mom the thoughts of putting my baby girl in daycare haunted me . The staff was so supportive in the transition of becoming a working momma. They understood my tears as I balled my eyes out on her first day there. The staff are so kind, caring, loving , gentle and overall just been so amazing to my girl and the rest of the kids. I love how they supply breakfast, snacks and lunch making getting out of the house by 7 am so much easier . Thankfully I had the opportunity to go to day care a handful of times with baby girl to make this transition easier. I got to witness first hand how amazing this day care is and how the staff interact with all the kiddos. I honestly never though I'd be at a point where I'm saying that I couldn't be more proud to call Polk-A-Dot daycare a second home for my daughter but they have gone above and beyond making me feel comfortable that this was the best choice".Thank you, thank you, thank you .

SincerelyBrittany ❤️
